8th DAWN in Education Spelling Bee September -
October 2012
The 8th DAWN in Education National Spelling Bee
Championship was held in Sept-Oct 2012.
Over 740 schools from the metropolitan as well as the remote
cities of Pakistan took part in this event. The contest
unleashed the potential of the talented and intelligent
young minds of Pakistan. It was tougher than ever as the
participants were armed with enthusiasm and a vocabulary
prowess that raised the competition bar to a new
standard. This year, 9 participants qualified from each
of the regions for the National Championship in
Islamabad, adding
new thrill to the competition.
7th DAWN in Education Spelling Bee September -
October 2011
The most
thrilling DAWN in Education Spelling Bee Championship to
date which started on 9th September, 2011 from Skardu
where it was held for the first time and came to an
end on 2nd November, 2011 at Islamabad left the audiences amazed in
all three regions.
Over 700
schools participated from throughout the country, in an
extremely competitive and engaging contest. The
competition was viewed by thousands of people as live
audiences. The competition was also televised on DAWN News TV Channel.
6th DAWN in Education Spelling Bee September - October
2010
The most
thrilling DAWN in Education Spelling Bee Championship to
date which started on 27th January, 2009 and came to an
end on 20th February, 2009 left the audiences amazed in
all three regions.
Over 630
schools participated from throughout the country, in an
extremely competitive and engaging contest. The
competition was viewed by thousands of people as live
audiences. The competition was also televised as a 4
series program on DAWN News TV Channel.
5th DAWN in Education Spelling Bee Jan - Feb
2009
The 5th DAWN in Education National Spelling Bee
Championship was held in Jan-Feb 2009.
630 schools from the metropolitan as well as the remote
cities of Pakistan took part in this event. The contest
unleashed the potential of the talented and intelligent
young minds of Pakistan. It was tougher than ever as the
participants were armed with enthusiasm and a vocabulary
prowess that raised the competition bar to a new
standard. This year, 5 participants qualified from each
of the regions for the National Championship in Karachi,
as opposed to 3 participants in previous years, adding
new thrill to the competition.
4th DAWN
in Education Spelling Bee Jan - March 2008
In Jan-Mar 2008 was held the 4th DAWN in Education
National Spelling Bee Championship.
It brought together 550 educational institutes from the
public and private sectors of Pakistan. Students were
given the opportunity to contest their spelling ability
on a level of diversity that no educational event here
has seen before. The competition was held with great
zeal all over Pakistan and proved that the young ones of
the nation have unlimited vigor and flair to take on
such challenges.
3rd DAWN in Education Spelling Bee September 2006
The 3rd DAWN in Education National Spelling Bee
Championship was held on September 23, 2006.
Over 400 of Pakistan's most competitive schools
contested to become National Spelling Bee Champions. The
competition witnessed advanced vocabulary prowess and
spelling ability like never before. Each year our bright
and enthusiastic participants raise the competition to a
new level. The thrill of the competition and eagerness
to win made the competition a truly worthwhile event.
2nd DAWN in Education Spelling Bee Sep-Oct 2005
DAWN in Education National Spelling Bee Championship was
held for the 2nd time on October 2, 2005.
The event brought together over 298 schools from all
over Pakistan to unite in a contest that saw 1,787
students demonstrate their vocabulary prowess in a bid
to become National Spelling Bee Champions. The
competition provided spellers from across the country an
opportunity to compete at an unprecedented level with
children from all over Pakistan.
1st DAWN in Education Spelling Bee Jan 2005
In January 2005, DAWN in Education organised Pakistan's
1st National Spelling Bee Championship.
This unprecedented event attracted 1,569 students from
over 250 of Pakistan's most progressive schools to rise
up to the challenge and compete to become the first ever
National Spelling Bee Champions. Apart from encouraging
children to make quantum leaps in their spelling ability
and word recognition powers, the DAWN In Education
National Spelling Bee provided a competitive environment
that fostered commitment, dedication, comradeship, and
team spirit.
